Making Fire

The Creation of Adam by Michelangelo

Inspired by Michelangelo’s fresco painting the creation of Adam, I am going to model my hand into a snapping finger position. My theme will relate to that of Michelangelo’s in a different way but carrying the same idea of creation. Basically, instead of creating life, the fingers of my hand will be to create fire and sound. I compare the hand with a fire striker, because even though the fingers don’t actually create fire or anything like that, it will work in my imagination for this project.



First comes the snapping



then the spark

and finally, fire.
