REACTION PAPER
When I went to visit the Joslyn Art Museum, I found three interesting sculptures from different artist that I wanted to write something about them for the reaction paper. They are: Bronco Buster (Frederic Sackrider), Large Covered Wagon (Tom Otterness), and Untitled (Jun Kaneko).

Bronco Buster
Although this bronze sculpture is very the smallest than the other two, it is much realistic and very active. I remind me of Brunelleschi’s Sacrifice of Isaac because it also captures a dramatic moment from a scene. Because of that I would say this is my favorite piece.
Large Covered Wagon
The first time you look at this sculpture, I found very funny the artist's style—it made me laugh for a moment. The piece in my opinion is very attractive to anybody because it is very smooth and shiny that it doesn’t scare anyone. I especially like the ant-looking figures because they are very cartoonish and so simplified.
Untitled
My last options is the giant ceramic head from Jun Kaneko. I don’t know if the artist is trying to say something with this sculpture, but it is definitely a powerful piece. I just admire the artist for his unique idea of building something big with clay. Working with this material is fun but also extremely hard to deal with.
